USAID/PHSP Abt Associates Inc., Ethiopia; Rapid assessment on involving lower clinics and drug vendors in Tuberculosis (TB) suspect identification and referral to TB diagnostic and treatment centers (May 2011-August 2011):

This assessment was done to have an insight on the perception of the general population, owners of the private facilities and, experts from the regional, woreda, and town heath offices on involving the lower clinics and drug vendors to formally identify and refer TB suspects. The study involved both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods and mapping of the private facilities in at least 18 study towns in the Oromia and Amhara regions.
